# Engagement Pods

**Engagement pods are not available yet.** The **Pods** page in SDRPilot is a teaser: it describes what is coming and there is nothing to switch on. This article explains the idea so you know what the page is for, and says plainly what does not work today.

## What an engagement pod is

A pod is a small group of people who agree to engage with each other's LinkedIn posts. When one member publishes, the others like and comment shortly after. Early engagement is what LinkedIn's feed reacts to, so a post that gets a handful of real comments in the first hour is shown to more people than the same post left alone.

Pods are a content tactic, not an outreach tactic. They are about reach on your own posts, which then feeds the **post engagement** lead source described on the [Agents](../agents/agents.md) page.

## What is planned

- **Create a pod** with a name, a description and rules: a minimum amount of engagement per post, the time window members should engage in, and a maximum number of members.
- **Join a pod** through an invite link.
- **A member list** with a fairness score per person, so you can see who gives as much as they get.
- **Automatic engagement**, where a member publishing a post triggers the other members' accounts to like and comment, with comments written by AI so they read naturally rather than as "Great post".
- **Fairness tracking**, so a pod where one person takes and never gives is visible rather than quietly unfair.

## What works today

The page itself, as a description of the above. No pod you create will engage with anything, because the part that likes and comments on LinkedIn is not built. Nothing on this page affects your agent, your leads, your inbox or your posting.

## Should you use a pod at all

Worth knowing before this ships. Pods lift the numbers on a post, and those numbers are not the same thing as the right people seeing it. Some of the measured post structures in SDRPilot carry an explicit note saying their results were pod boosted rather than organic, exactly so a number from a pod run is not mistaken for a number you can expect without one.

If your aim is leads rather than impressions, the people who engage matter more than how many. A comment from someone in your ideal customer profile becomes a lead the moment your agent sees it. A comment from a pod member who will never buy is engagement and nothing else.

## What to do in the meantime

Publish on a schedule from the [Writing and Scheduling Posts](content.md) page, then work the people who engage through [My Posts and Engagement](my-posts-and-engagement.md). That is the same loop a pod is meant to accelerate, and it runs today.

This page is updated when pods go live.
