# Profile Viewers

Somebody who took the trouble to open your profile has already shown interest. **Profile Viewers** collects those visits and turns the named ones into leads.

Measured over 30 days across live accounts, profile viewers is the best performing source <span data-t="appName">SDRPilot</span> has: 67 percent of the people invited from it accepted. If you only ever work one source, work this one.

## What the page shows

The page syncs from LinkedIn every time you open it, so what you see is current. There is also a **Sync from LinkedIn** button for a manual refresh, and a banner tells you how many new viewers were found.

Above the list is a 30 day bar chart of daily views, which is the quickest way to see whether a post or a burst of outreach actually moved attention.

The list itself shows each viewer with their photo, name and headline. Click a viewer to open their lead record. The LinkedIn icon opens their profile on LinkedIn instead. Older viewers load with **Load more**.

## Anonymous viewers

LinkedIn lets people browse privately. A viewer who arrives without a profile is skipped entirely: there is nobody to add, and a placeholder row would only clutter the list. Your total view count on LinkedIn will therefore be higher than the number of viewers listed here.

## How viewers become leads

Named viewers are added to [Leads](leads.md) automatically.

* A viewer who is already a first degree connection is added with the **Connection** source and the **Connected** status, because there is nothing to invite them to.
* Everybody else is added with the **Profile View** source and goes through the normal research and scoring.

If somebody who was already in your list as a profile view later connects with you, their source is promoted to **Connection** on the next sync rather than being duplicated.

New viewers are researched so your agent has something to work with, and they are scored against [your ICP](icp.md) like any other lead. A viewer who does not fit your profile is not invited.

## Letting an agent watch for you

An agent checks your profile viewers on a schedule, roughly every three hours, inside your active hours. Profile views is one of the lead sources you can switch off on the **Agents** page under **Lead Sources**.

Switching it off stops the scheduled check. It does not lock you out of this page: opening it yourself is you asking to see who looked at you, which is a different thing from an agent harvesting leads in the background.

## Searching

The search box filters the viewers currently loaded, by name or headline. Press the forward slash key to jump into it. If more pages exist, <span data-t="appName">SDRPilot</span> says so, and loading more widens what the search covers.

## Limits

Search covers loaded viewers only rather than your entire history. LinkedIn profile photo links expire after a while, so a very old viewer may show a blank photo.
