People Search
People Search is LinkedIn’s people search, run from inside SDRPilot, with the results turned into leads in one click.
Searching
Type what you are looking for and refine with the filters.
- Job title, as free text.
- Location, picked from a searchable list of countries.
- Industry, picked from a searchable list.
The first option in each picker clears that filter. Results load as you scroll, so you can keep going without paging.
People you are already connected to are never in the results. The search covers second and third degree only, because first degree people are already in your network and belong in Leads rather than in a prospecting list.
Reading the results
Each result shows the photo, name, headline and profile link. Somebody you already have carries a green Lead badge and a View lead link that takes you straight to their record, so you never create a second copy of a person by accident.
Adding leads
Add one person with the Add button on their row, or tick several and use the bar at the bottom. Before the leads are created you can attach tags, which is the easiest way to keep one search session findable later.
SDRPilot stores the search that found them on each lead: the keywords and the filters you used. Open the lead later and you can see exactly which search it came out of.
Leads you add by hand arrive as New and are researched and scored on their own shortly afterwards. You do not need to do anything else.
Letting an agent search for you
People search also runs unattended. An agent can run the same search on a schedule using the job titles and countries from your ICP, and feed what it finds into the normal pipeline. Those leads carry the People Search source.
This is the only discovery method that filters on your ICP before it spends any research on a profile. Everything else finds people through engagement and learns where they are afterwards.
Turning it on and off
People search is one of the lead sources you control on the Agents page under Lead Sources. You can switch it off entirely, and you can move it up or down in the order your agent works through its sources.
It is worth knowing why it ships last in the default order. Measured over 30 days across live accounts, people search was accepted by 7.8 percent of the people it invited, against 42.6 percent for Content Search and 67 percent for Profile Viewers. Somebody who has never heard of you accepts far less often than somebody who just read your post. Ranked above the others it would quietly eat the whole daily invitation budget, so it sits at the bottom until you decide otherwise.
Your monthly search allowance, your daily sending limit and your active hours all still apply on top. The on and off switch is about strategy, not about safety.
Limits
The location and industry pickers are fixed lists rather than a live lookup, so a very unusual industry may not be there. There is no company size or seniority filter yet, and searches are not saved for re-use.
